This picture sums up the worst feeling in football – the agony of the chance gone begging. It makes ‘The Scream‘ look like Mr Happy.
Poor Chris Iwelumo; the expression on his face is one of pure fear. He knows that he will be haunted by that miss until the end of time. My face looked like that when I heard Andy Cole rapping for the first time.
It’s not hard to see why so many footballers have been tempted into the studio. Who wouldn’t want to cut their own record?:
