I’m off on holiday for a couple of weeks, so no new posts for a while. I’ll be visiting the Deep South USA, and thanks to Dispatches from a Football Sofa I have an idea of somewhere to visit in New Orleans – evidence, if it were needed, that spending your days watching football and writing about it can be a culturally enriching experience. There wont be much football where I’m going, but I’m hopefully hooking up with the Nashville chapter of the American Outlaws to watch the Champions League final before I fly home. I hope to share more about that particular experience when I’m back in June.
